          Ghandhi Smarak Post Graduate College (Formerly known as GS Degree College), Samodhpur, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh affiliated to V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur and Recognised by National Council for Teacher Education for B.Ed. programme is a leading educational institution of Eastern U.P. College is situated at Samodhpur, a undevelped area of Jaunpur District.

          This College has been founded in July 1961 with motto to provide higher education to boys and girls of Jaunpur District. Management of this college is committed to impart qualitative education at higher level. College has dexterously been in service of Education since its inception. Today this Institution has been recognized as one of the best education centre in JaunpurDistrict.

          The college is managed by a Society registered under Society Act, 1860. At present there are two faculties in the college Faculty of Education and Faculty of Arts, under these faculties College is running various degree courses.

        The campus is lush-green, pollution free with all infrastructures compatible to any modern educational institution in the Kaushambhi District. All the games facilities are available in the institution. College has a huge play ground to cater the needs of sports and college activities. There is a mango garden in the campus, which makes it different from others.

          The objective of this educational group is to impart advance education and training to young generation, under the guidance of the most enlightened scholars. The aim is not only to provide only traditional education but also to make them eligible in this competitive scenario. Besides giving good education in various streams, the management also aims providing support in career development with special attention to moral education and character building for the betterment of the youth.
